Globally, 670 million people are unable to afford spectacles, and 200 million more need vision aids due to conditions like trachoma and cataracts. Traditional methods of distributing donated glasses are inadequate, often providing only approximate corrections and leading to dissatisfaction and non-use. The World Health Organisation acknowledges the necessity for a more effective solution.

"Optician in a Box" offers a new approach, allowing quick and easy assembly of glasses using pre-cut lenses. This method eliminates the need for expensive equipment and ensures accurate vision correction. Our product is designed to be lightweight, portable, and durable, featuring modules made from shock- and impact-resistant ABS plastic.
